Our take...

The Buck & Ear Bar and Grill is located at the historic Steveston Hotel. A great place to hang on the patio on a warm day or relax inside by a cozy fireplace on a cold day, the Buck & Ear is quite accessible. They offer a large menu that can be viewed on their webpage with great daily meal and drink specials. The Buck & Ear is a hot spot for sports enthusiasts, as it has more TV sets inside than I could count on 3 hands, including 2 big screens. Buck n Ear logo There is accessible parking at the back of the bar, directly west of the rear entrance. The ground markings have been worn down, making it hard to see, so remember the location. Close by in the neighbouring Gulf of Georgia Cannery parking lot there are many additional accessible parking stalls. There are two main entrances into the bar. Both do not have power entry doors, but offer little in the way of resistance. The rear door beside the disabled parking is the lightest of the two. Throughways inside the bar are very wide open and allow ample room for chairs. Tables have 29 in. clearance underneath and non-obtrusive stands. The menu is in a fairly small font, but has strong colour contrast. TVs are everywhere and have Closed Captioning.
